'Pick your battles’: Top tips for negotiating with your children
With twin seven-year-old boys, Jane Dowden, known online as Mum and a Mic, is no stranger to negotiating with her children.
Whether it's sitting on the bottom step trying to convince a child to put on their smart shoes instead of green dinosaur crocs or trying to get children to eat their vegetables at dinner time, it can be a very stressful experience.

You can listen to the full special programme about women and negotiation on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sounds – it's the Woman’s Hour episode from 1 January.
