
Israel ships banned from Malaysia's ports
Malaysia imposes docking ban on Israeli cargo ships in solidarity with Gaza. Ships also barred from loading cargo at any port in the largely Muslim Southeast Asian nation.
Malaysia has banned all Israeli-owned or flagged vessels from calling at its ports. The ban is a direct response to Israeli actions in Palestina, which were regarded in Malaysia as a violation of basic humanitarian principles and international law. It is still unclear how this will affect economic relations between countries and what problems will it create for trading in Israel...
