The emergency services say they've been busy across Leicestershire and Rutland with the bulk of their calls involving drivers who've gone into standing water getting stuck in the process.

The police say there have been reports of crashes and broken down vehicles across the county. The Environment Agency has issued 5 flood warnings and 15 flood alerts for the area following recent heavy rain.

Chris Parsons from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue told Chance Litchfield the pressure on resources mean they can't get to incidents as quickly as they'd like.
