Hereford’s ‘City of Sanctuary’ for asylum seekers
Meet the people living in Belmont's Three Counties Hotel being helped by Herefordians, whilst they are awaiting refugee status being awarded.
Our reporter Kalpana Boodhoo hears from those asylum seekers, as well a the volunteers at the regular drop in sessions with Herefordshire City of Sanctuary volunteers.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Office now says it has reviewed a total of 112,000 applications. But many are still awaiting a final decision, and critics have accused ministers of massaging the statistics.
