Post Office scandal: 'We’re trying to draw more victims out of the woodwork'

Between 2000 and 2014, a flaw in a newly-installed computer system made it look like money was missing from Post Offices. It led to suspensions, termination of contracts, wrongful prosecutions and convictions of over 700 postmasters.

Postmaster Alan Bates led the legal battle and won, paving the way for dozens of convictions to be overturned.

He tells 5 Live Breakfast he is pleased more people are coming forward after a drama based on his real-life fight for justice aired on ITV in 'Mr Bates vs The Post Office'.
