Egremont man's Mexico dash for medical treatment
A man from West Cumbria has travelled to Mexico for what he hopes will be life-changing treatment for multiple sclerosis. It's a lifelong condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of symptoms. Sheldon Morfoot, who’s 31 and from Thornhill near Egremont, says he’s hopeful it will halt the progress of his symptoms. He borrowed more than £50,000 to make the trip and is in the process of selling his house to help pay off his debts.
