A 17-year-old girl has been reunited with the stranger who saved her life when she hit rock bottom.

Maddie had intended to take her own life during a walk in 2020, when David Johnson saw her and struck up a conversation.

On finally meeting Mr Johnson again after three years, Maddie said: "I needed to see the person who meant like so much to me throughout these years."

The college student is now looking forward to the future and the pair have stayed in touch since that walk.
