Post Office scandal: ‘Nobody wanted to help’
Tracey from Hertfordshire was accused of theft when she ran a post office. She is among hundreds whose cases have been highlighted by the ITV drama, Mr Bates vs The Post Office. The programme shows how faulty software made it look like money was missing. Some sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses were convicted and sent to prison. Many are still fighting to have their convictions overturned, while there’s concern the process of getting compensation to victims has been too slow. Photo: Getty Images.
