    Post Office: from royal wedding to wrongful conviction
The Prime Minister has promised a new law to clear the names of all those wrongly convicted in the Post Office IT scandal.
Hasmukh Shingadia - a former sub-postmaster in Berkshire who used to count the Prince and Princess of Wales as customers and attended their wedding - was handed a suspended sentence for false accounting in 2010. The Court of Appeal quashed his conviction in 2021.
