Nick Wallis: Post Office investigator Stephen Bradshaw 'One of the worst investigators in history'

Nick Wallis, the journalist who has spent years investigating the Post Office scandal says investigator Stephen Bradshaw is "one of the worst" in history.

Mr Bradshaw has been giving evidence to the public inquiry into the wrongful conviction of scores of sub-postmasters and mistresses, some of whom he investigated on behalf of the Post Office.

Speaking to Adrian Chiles, Nick Wallis said that Mr Bradshaw "comes across as a bully in the transcripts in the interviews we've been listening to."

He added that "the quality of his investigations is why we are dealing with this scandal".

Between 1999 and 2015, the Post Office prosecuted 700 sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses based on the faulty Horizon IT system.
