Israeli film-maker says force won't solve Palestinian question
Amos Gitai is one of Israel's leading cultural figures. He served in the Yom Kippur war in 1973 in which his helicopter was hit by a missile.
Afterwards he became a film-maker. Many of his films have been political, bringing together Israelis and Palestinians to tell each other stories. Today he's calling for peaceful solutions to the conflict between Hamas and Israel, and for Israelis and Palestinians to find a way forward.
He's been speaking to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Julian Worricker.
