'Life threatening' proposals in Leominster
We examine the impact of 'significant' cuts proposed to fire services across Herefordshire & Worcestershire, reducing up to eight engines and 45 on call firefighters.
Roger Pritchard and Jan Lockett speak to us as Leominster residents, who will be affected by the changes. Tammy Gooding speaks to Bill Wiggin MP and Tom Wells, the leader of Malvern Hills District Council - which would also be affected.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service has told us the proposals would modernise the organisation, and that all money saved by reducing fire engine numbers would be reinvested.
