How do you teach parrots to not swear?
In January 2024 the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park at Friskney came up with a plan to stop some of its parrots from using bad language.
They were to be put in with a larger flock of non-swearing birds, in the hope that they would mimic their behaviour.
However, park boss Steve Nichols admitted there was a chance that the opposite may happen, leading to the flock adding to their vocabulary in a somewhat less than family-friendly way.
