Leicester's Paper Tiger closes after 50 years
After 50 years, Leicester icon Paper Tiger has announced it is closing.
The shop has posted the following message in it's front window:
'Over 50 years ago, Paper Tiger has been trading and serving its customers but now we just have to close our doors. It has been with great joy and honour to have served you all these years, celebrating and creating memories through all your celebrations and milestones. Together we have created unforgettable experiences, sharing stories and letting us be a part of your joyous moments.'
'We have laughed, cried and celebrated. We remained strong and independent throughout however the last few years has been a really tough time for us.
We've worked incredibly hard because this is our love and passion. Alas, we have to set down now. Thank you'
Jo Hollis spoke to shoppers for their reaction.
