New traffic cameras near Liverpool schools
The second phase of traffic enforcement cameras, designed to reduce driving offences and congestion in parts of Liverpool, have been switched on.
The City Council's installed Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras at a number of locations, including outside Greenbank and Much Woolton Primary Schools where the roads are closed to cars at the start and end of the school day.
More than 8 and a half thousand warning notices have been issued since the first cameras went live in November.
