Harlow flats could be demolished
A block of flats in Harlow could be demolished over safety concerns. Harlow Council says it has already spent £300,000 on the four-storey Sycamore Field building following fire service advice. The council says it would be cheaper to demolish the building than bring the properties up to standard at a cost of £5.5 million. The proposals will be discussed at a planning meeting on February 15th, and residents would be reimbursed if their flats were demolished.
