DJ Spoony on muzzling his XL Bully: 'He can't stand it'
XL Bully owner DJ Spoony tells 5 Live his XL Bully "can't stand" being muzzled.
From 1 February 2024, it's illegal to own an XL bully dog in England and Wales without an exemption certificate.
It means that owners have to stick to strict guidance which include getting their dogs microchipped, keeping them on a lead and wearing a muzzle in public.
Speaking to 5 Live, DJ Spoony says he thinks his dog Prince which weighs 55kg is struggling to understand why he needs to be muzzled now and that the new rules could mean he becomes more agitated as a result.
