Harwich fire badly damages LV18
A fundraising campaign has been launched to help repair a much-loved Harwich landmark. The LV18 is a former Trinity House vessel and was badly damaged in a recent fire. Police investigating the incident have charged a man with arson, who also faces charges over a fire at Harwich Town railway station on the same evening.
Tony O’Neil is chair of the Pharos Trust which owns the LV18 and says witnessing the fire was absolutely devastating.
