'I keep telling the police, he WILL kill me'
A anonymous woman fears she could be killed by her ex-partner if the police don't act.
The woman was granted a restraining order against her ex-partner last year.
It followed a trial at which he was found guilty of harassing her husband and given a suspended jail sentence.
The restraining order bans him from contacting her - or her husband - under almost all circumstances.
But she says he's routinely flouting it and says Northamptonshire Police won't take action.
A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: “Tackling domestic abuse is a priority for Northamptonshire Police and we will do everything we can to seek a charge or positive outcome when an allegation is reported to us.
On this occasion, there simply wasn’t enough evidence to prove that a breach of the order imposed had been committed and therefore no realistic chance of a prosecution.
We would continue asking them to report suspected breaches to us so we can investigate.”
