Breathtaking, a new ITV drama, tells the story of frontline NHS staff battling to save patients in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It’s based on Dr Rachel Clarke’s memoir of her experience on the Covid wards.
The actor Joanne Froggatt - who plays Dr Abbey Henderson in the drama - and Dr Rachel Clarke joined Woman’s Hour’s Emma Barnett to explain why they wanted to make the three-part series now.
Breathtaking starts on ITV1 on Monday 19 February.
