Jay Mcguiness, vocalist from The Wanted, tells 5 Live that he's always been aware of his upbringing and class.

It's something he's always been conscious of during his upbringing – and he says finding fame in The Wanted made him see how the other half live.

"It sort of transforms you, and your perspective that those people are somehow noble and that's why they're there.

"We've [The Wanted] hung out with literal royalty and some of theme are just so fascinating and interesting people and some of them are complete dullards and you think, well how are you here?.

"I've transformed through being in The Wanted but I'll never ever fully be like a royal person... you can never really change class", he finished.
