Narrowboat art 'alive' in the Black Country
A decorative artist is looking to protect and promote the "endangered" craft of painting canal narrowboats.
Kerri Williams, from Halesowen, is a trustee at Dudley Canal Trust and runs regular courses on her skills and gives talks in schools to pass on her skills.
She is also a featured expert on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Two programme Jay and David's Touring Toolshed, in which members of the public are shown how to take their craft skills to the next level.
Canal art and narrowboat painting has just been added to a national list of endangered crafts.
