Michael Dooley, a former consultant at Dorset County Hospital, is leading the DCH100 Jurassic Coast Challenge to raise money for Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit Appeal.
He aims to walk the whole 100k across the Dorset coastline with anyone that will join him to help raise money for the charity's biggest monetary appeal to date.
The money raised will fund extra facilities for the new Critical Care Unit such as relatives’ overnight accommodation and a patient garden, and an Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit in the Emergency Department.
