Campaigner reacts to ‘laughing gas’ sentencing
An Essex man has become the first person in the UK to be convicted for possessing laughing gas - with the intent to supply. 31-year-old Thomas Salton from Brentwood was found in December with party bags in his vehicle, which contained items such as Christmas crackers and sweets, but also bags of ketamine, nitrous oxide cannisters and balloons.
Emma Cain from Southend has been campaigning against laughing gas since her son died from inhaling Butane at 17 years old.
