White-winged guan: Finding Peru's lost bird
The white-winged guan was thought to be extinct for 100 years, until Gustavo Del Solar was told that it may be hiding deep in Peru's Andes mountains.
His son, Rafael, tells Witness History's Ben Henderson how his father came to rediscover the chicken-sized bird in 1977.
