Ukrainian children mark two years since war began
It's 2 years since the war in Ukraine started.
Yuliia Kalenyk fled from her home in Ukraine in 2022 and came to Leicester, where she has seen Ukrainian refugee children lose their homes and slowly forget their first language.
4 months ago, she decided to start a school right here in the city to provide a space for these kids. There are currently 55 pupils enrolled aged between 2 and 15, who take regular History, Maths, English and Ukrainian lessons.
They have created an exhibition about 'Peace in Ukraine'. Their paintings are located outside the Ukrainian Social Centre for the public to go and see.
Yuliia told Kelly Hinch why.
