Vegan supermarket owners Danielle and Chris are celebrating 10 years since they opened Purple Carrot on Smithdown Road in Liverpool.

Purple Carrot was the first completely vegan shop to open in the city in 2014.

The shop plays an important part in the community, having organised many community events including film screenings.

During lockdown visits to the shop become a lifeline to many customers.
