Potholes in Suffolk increased ‘by 85%’
Suffolk County Council has defended itself in response to a petition denouncing the state of the county’s roads.
The petition calling for local authorities to implement "comprehensive repairs" to roads has received more than 1,200 signatures in just a few days.
The authority’s councillor with responsible for Highways and Flooding, Paul West, tells Graham Barnard they have seen a 85% increase in the number of potholes being reported this winter.
