How can a meat stew be synonymous with the city of Liverpool?
Global scouse day is an annual celebration of the city of Liverpool which is held every year on 28 February. It is primarily based around scouse, the stew made from chunks of meat, usually beef or lamb, with potatoes, carrots and onion.
Global scouse day sees bars, cafes and restaurants in Liverpool and around the world put scouse on the menu for the day.
