Six BRITS! But who is Croydon's history-maker Raye?
Pop-star Raye made history at the Brit Awards at the weekend, winning six of the seven prizes she was nominated for - beating Blur, Adele and Harry Styles' record four wins at a single ceremony.
So who is this genre-defying trailblazer, born in Tooting, bred in Croydon?
The Guardian’s Deputy Music Editor, Laura Snapes, told us more about who exactly Raye is and why it’s not exactly been an easy ride to the top for the 26-year-old.
