Norwich man: Cost of living is ‘survival’ mode
A former handyman from Norwich says he will be forced to turn off all his appliances if a Government benefit is cancelled. The Household Support Fund was introduced during the pandemic to help cover bills, food and essential items for those who are struggling. It has been extended several times but is due to finish at the end of this month. 63-year-old Peter (not his real name) has been using as little energy as possible to cover his bills since his business shut down during Covid. He explains what his life is like to Jo Thewlis.
