Inspirational Islanders: ‘Womble’ Wendy Marshall
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards are your chance to recognise a person or group in your community who does something extraordinary.
The Vectis Womble Association on the Isle of Wight were shortlisted for the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent Make a Difference Green Award in 2023. Wendy 'Womble' Marshall told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Alun Newman what it meant to be nominated.
Nominations for 2024 have now closed. The winners will be announced at our award ceremony in September.
