Dorchester's inaugural Dulcimer festival kicks off this weekend at Shire Hall caf茅. Dulcimers are a resonant string instrument, the hammered dulcimer being flat and played with small wooden mallets.

Festival organiser Damian Clarke joined Steve Harris in 蜜芽传媒's Dorchester studio to explain the nuances of the instrument and give a live performance on his hammered dulcimer.
