Have you ever heard a Dulcimer before?
Dorchester's inaugural Dulcimer festival kicks off this weekend at Shire Hall café. Dulcimers are a resonant string instrument, the hammered dulcimer being flat and played with small wooden mallets.
Festival organiser Damian Clarke joined Steve Harris in ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Dorchester studio to explain the nuances of the instrument and give a live performance on his hammered dulcimer.
