Bodmin murder - remembering Mike
The family of Michael Riddiough-Allen say his death has inspired them to speak out on the issue of knife crime in society. Michael was stabbed to death outside a nightclub in Bodmin in April 2023. After a six week trial, Jake Hill, 25, was convicted of murder and stabbing four other people. Two local women, both aged 22, were also on trial - Chelsea Powell was found not guilty of murder and manslaughter, but guilty of perverting the course of justice. Tia Taylor had pleaded guilty to manslaughter and perverting the course of justice. The trio will be sentenced in April.
