Cherished Barrow trees for the chop?
A leafy Edwardian terrace is fighting the axe to their 120 year old sycamores, because the Council argue root heave is a health and safety issue for pedestrians and public safety is their utmost priority. But residents on Infield Park argue that removing the trees will destroy the unique character of their neighbourhood, and hope a compromise can still be found to preserve them.
