Moat Community College's approach to Ramadan
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community.
For school children, no child younger than the age of puberty is expected to fast but some children choose to.
Parents and schools often work together work together to support the child and keep them safe during this Holy month.
ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube's been to meet Brian Killeen, the principal at Moat Community College, that's a secondary school in Leicester , he's been explaining the school's approach to Ramadan.
