A number of children at Gordano School have been injured in a crush as they were trying to leave school.

Parents say they鈥檝e been told that the gates hadn't been opened in time for children leaving at end of the school day.

Glyn, one of the parents of a child caught in the crush, spoke to the 蜜芽传媒鈥檚 Andy Howard.

The school says staff were immediately on the scene and several pupils visited their first aider before going home and insist 鈥淭he safety and wellbeing of students is of the upmost importance to Gordano School and we will continue to investigate what happened and update the school community in due course.鈥�
