Does Guernsey need a seat at trade negotiations?
During international trade negotiations involving Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man, their representatives are absent, and the UK government represents them.
This sometimes leads to conflicts between the islands' interests and those of the UK.
Consequently, UK's Justice Committee suggests that the islands should have their officials present in trade talks to ensure their interests are considered.
