Industrial beauty at springtime down the Regent's Canal
Just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Kings Cross Station is a slither of waterway as historic as it is beautiful. This is the Regent's Canal, but not as you've seen it before.
This spring, The London Canal Museum is offering tours from its base in Kings Cross, all the way to Victoria Park if you so choose. On 'Long Tom' you'll traverse the longest canal tunnel in London, peak into the back gardens of some of Islington's well-to-do neighbours, and revel in the industrial beauty of the City Road Lock.
Visitors can also learn about London's forgotten ice trade at the museum's former ice house home, including the vast subterranean wells where the ice was stored.
