Liverpool's Festival Gardens vandalised
Back in 1984, the International Garden Festival in Liverpool became a popular place for a great day out. But, after a difficult few years, the site fell into disrepair.
The Friends of Festival Gardens were formed and the volunteers are cleaning up and restoring the area, including the much-loved Japanese garden.
Recently the gardens were vandalised, and the damage includes the forty plus year old Acer tree in the Japanese Garden.
