Villagers come together after Badsey fire
Residents of the Worcestershire village react after a fire ripped through three houses on Thursday evening. Our reporter Matt Hutchinson is at the scene, and speaks to Neil, who's lived in the Vale of Evesham since the 1980s, and Dan Westwood, a local butcher.
One of the residents whose house was engulfed by flames, said "I am utterly devastated, not only for my own family but also for our lovely neighbours who have also lost so much. Although our property and belongings are completely lost, the fact that no one was injured and no houses beyond the initial three were affected is an absolute blessing."
A fundraiser is in effect to support the families affected by the blaze.
