Worcester students 'overwhelmed' by defib donation
Amy Shadbolt reacts after a caller surprised her on-air with an offer of a defibrillator, on Malcolm Boyden's show. Mark King heard Amy's appeal and got in touch to help.
Amy tells Malcolm how she's been fundraising to get the equipment to the Henwick Road Co-op, where her friend died in a traffic incident.
Mark runs The Oliver King Foundation, which supports CPR training and defibrillator installation all over the country. They have generously helped to fund the unit, and will help Amy choose a dedication plaque to her friend, which will be installed with the machine.
We'll follow the story on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hereford & Worcester.
