Meet the amateur golfer who has swapped the virtual Masters for the real thing
Australian amateur golfer Jasper Stubbs will be playing at The Masters for the first time, but the Asia-Pacific Amateur champion is no stranger to the Augusta National course.
He tells Sportsworld’s Delyth Lloyd how he used to play the course on a video game – including shooting a round as low as 22 under par – but what sort of challenge is he expecting when playing the real course?
Stubbs is one of five amateurs who will be competing at The Masters with the chance to win the Silver Cup, which is awarded to the lowest scoring amateur to make the cut.
