Warrington widow loses savings to romance fraud
A widow from Warrington who handed her life savings to an online romance fraudster says she'll struggle to "ever trust anybody again" after the 拢50,000 scam.
Lyn was taken in by 'Derek', a man she met on a social media page for widows and widowers.
After losing her husband of 25 years in 2019, Lyn says she never suspected any wrongdoing until it was too late.
