A caretaker at a Leicester school has been praised by staff, pupils and parents after fasting during Ramadan to support his colleagues and children.

Alfie Tyler has been fasting alongside Muslim members of Braunstone Community Primary School in Leicester over the past month.

He said he wanted to see what some of the pupils were going through during the religious period.

Ady Dayman went to meet Alfie and the school headmaster Halil Tamgumus.
