Rescued from flooding in West Kirby
Staff at a bistro in West Kirby in Wirral have been rescued by a lifeboat crew after severe flooding.
A sea wall, which cost almost 20 million pounds, was completed last year to protect properties on the front.
Wirral council says officers will assess the flood defences in conjunction with the Environment Agency and while weather conditions remain stormy, people should avoid coastal areas.
