Former Blues skipper Ian Clarkson has reacted to the news that his former side are closer than ever to a new home.

Birmingham City's owners Knighthead have acquired a new site in Bordesley, which was previously the Birmingham Wheels site.

Blues chairman Tom Wagner has said he hopes that the club will move to the site in 2029, and predicts the project will cost between 拢2-3bn.
