Final consultation on Norfolk pylon plan
The third and final consultation on a stretch of electricity pylons through Norfolk has begun.
The route that runs for more than 100 miles between Tilbury and Norwich will be predominantly made up of overhead power lines, but there are fresh proposals for underground cabling through the Waveney Vale.
However, there has been strong opposition to plans by local residents who fear the impact they will have on the countryside.
Liam Walker from National Grid told the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s Andrew Sinclair they have listened to those concerns.
