Leicester woman's 'absolute hell' of being stalked

A Leicestershire woman who was stalked by a man she had only met once says her experience was life changing.

Jennifer Pickering was stalked by Jan Schlossar who has since been sent to prison three times for his crime.

One in five women will experience stalking during their adult life but, national figures show that only one in one thousand stalkers will actually be convicted. The government say that they have seen a year on year rise in stalking offences charged since 2017, and doubled the maximum penalty from five to ten years.

Jennifer told Ady Dayman that it was one of the strangest things she's ever experienced.
