Community activist Michelle Charters is the first black woman to lead Liverpool's International Slavery Museum.
Liverpool born and bred, Michelle will navigate the International Slavery Museum through a £28m transformation. From gallery space into a museum with the ambition to become the world leader in understanding and exploring the impact and legacies of historic and modern slavery.
Here she reflects on her first 100 days on the job.
